Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Designer/Drafter to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and models that align with project requirements and client expectations. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who thrives in a remote working environment and is skilled in transforming concepts into precise technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and plans using CAD software and other design tools.
  • Assist in the design and drafting of building layouts, elevations, and sections for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet technical and client requirements.
  • Interpret and apply building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory standards to designs.
  • Prepare 3D models, renderings, and presentations as required.
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project developments.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of all architectural documentation.
  • Maintain organized project records and ensure deliverables are completed within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices or LEED certification.
  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working on remote or distributed teams.
